YOUR COMMITMENT
The Pamplin EMBA program demands a strong commitment from you. Managing full-time work and study along with other family and personal obligations can prove to be daunting to most program participants. In order to cope with these demands, you need to be focused on the goal of program completion with the support of your company and family. Your responsibilities include attending classes regularly, doing all the required assignments and coursework, participating in exchange of ideas with faculty and fellow classmates, and staying in touch with peers for group projects and other team related activities.
YOUR COMPANY'S COMMITMENT
A commitment from your company is essential for success in the EMBA program. Your organization may provide full or partial sponsorship to the program. In addition, it is important that your company allow you to leave work early every alternate Friday so valuable class time is not missed. They should also permit you to participate in the ten-day international residency program.
YOUR FAMILY'S COMMITMENT
Family support is critical to the success of an executive education program. We encourage spouses, partners and others to participate in exclusive family events and activities organized to welcome families to the Pamplin community. Your family, as well as your corporate sponsor, is also encouraged to attend the regular open houses and information sessions.
PAMPLIN'S COMMITMENT TO YOU
We will make your educational experience as convenient as possible so that it is easier for you to balance academic, professional and family demands. We will provide you with the highest quality of academic content. Through our administrative support we will provide you with course materials, computing needs, dining facilities during the program, assist you administratively with projects and assignments. We have a full-time executive director and a dedicated staff whose primary responsibility is to provide the service that you need and deserve.
