The Pamplin EMBA Faculty
The Pamplin College of Business faculty has a tripartite mission: research, teaching and service. Each faculty member at Pamplin typically excels in one or more these missions. This mission empowers our faculty to provide the exact kind of business education that is needed to manage the more complex organizations of today. We have carefully selected the Pamplin EMBA program faculty keeping in mind the interactive nature of the program. Our full-time faculty from Blacksburg as well as the Northern Virginia campus teaches in the program.
Many of our faculty members regularly consult with businesses as well as the government bringing in their current real-world understanding into the classroom. The Pamplin College of Business also has several faculty led centers that enable faculty to be at the forefront of innovation and apply their knowledge to the outside world. These centers include: Virginia Tech Center for Leadership Studies, Business Leadership Center, AT&T Center for Scientific Visualization of Organizations, Small Business Institute, eBusiness Systems Integration Center, Centre for Global Electronic Commerce and others.
