RUSSELL ADAMCHAKBack to top
For fifteen years, Russell Adamchak has been employed by Mercury Computer Systems in various sales and business development positions. Russell is responsible for sales and marketing strategies and plans in the Defense Electronics Group Signals Intelligence and Electronic Warfare segment. He was director of government electronics group business development for three years and regional sales manager for two years. In these capacities, he was responsible for developing the defense electronic group strategic plan as well as identifying short-term business opportunities and long-term market opportunities for baseline and emerging markets and applications. Mercury Computer Systems is a COTS manufacturer of high-performance real-time computer systems used in Government C4ISR platforms. Before joining the company in 1990, Russell spent five years as regional sales manager for Numerix Corporation, a manufacturer of high-performance array processor systems. At Numerix, he was responsible for all sales and business development related activities in the Northeast region, responsible for accounts including Raytheon Equipment Division, NAWC Warminster Pa., NUWC New London, Conn. and Newport, R.I. Previously, Russell spent two years employed by MASSCOMP, a manufacturer of UNIX based systems for real-time applications. There he worked as a senior sales representative based in Los Angeles. Digital Equipment Corporation also employed Russell in various marketing, business planning and sales positions in Maynard, Mass., Los Angeles and Geneva, Switzerland for six years. He earned a bachelor's in computer sciences from Boston College in 1976.

Brian Bullock is a program manager for Booz Allen Hamilton, a global strategy and technology consulting firm. Brian is responsible for the direct supervision and control of all development and deployment efforts for a complex software development project. He has 17 years experience in the information technology (IT) community where he served as program manager, project manager, senior systems engineer, database analyst and computer operator. Brian received a bachelor's in computer information science from the University of Maryland and a master's in software engineering from the University of Maryland.

Evan Curbeam is a vice president in the retail banking division for Wachovia Bank, N.A. Wachovia is the nation's fourth largest bank holding company and third largest full–service retail brokerage firm. He is based in Richmond and is responsible for managing Wachovia's Small Business Banking and Private Advisory Group Teams covering central Virginia. Evan's team is responsible for delivering a comprehensive array of financial services ranging from small business credit solutions and treasury management to individual needs such as trust services, insurance and financial planning. Evan has worked in the financial services industry for over ten years with eight years of service at Wachovia Bank. Before his banking career, Evan spent five years working for the City of Richmond as a senior administrative analyst in the Department of Public Utilities where he was responsible for contract administration and capital budgeting. He also has served as a member of the United States Air Force Reserve for eight years and participated in joint NATO exercises in Canada, Panama and Scandinavia. In 1988, he received his bachelor's in urban studies and planning with a minor in political science from Virginia Commonwealth University.

DEANE L. EDELMAN, AIA, CFMBack to top
Deane Edelman is a native of Charleston, W.Va. and attended college at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN. After graduating from the School of Architecture in 1985, he returned to Charleston and began a career with Columbia Energy Group. Over the next fifteen years, he worked in a variety of positions that took him to Columbus, Ohio and eventually to Northern Virginia. He served as director of corporate real estate and facility management for Columbia until a corporate acquisition by NiSource in 2001. After two years with Washington Gas, Deane joined Anteon Corporation as its corporate real estate manager to oversee a portfolio of 1.5 million square feet and more than 200 locations. As a registered architect Deane is an active member in a variety of organizations including the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) with a Certified Facility Manager (CFM) classification, and the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of CoreNet Global.

David Filiatrault is the senior manager and technical architect of eMortgage closing applications at Fannie Mae. He is responsible for the development of applications, which check the conformance of mortgage data to a set of rules both pre- and post-closing, and enable lenders to deliver electronically signed eMortgages to Fannie Mae. Before Fannie Mae, David was a founder of Answerthink, a business and technology-consulting firm where he was a director in eCommerce applications, led the Application Server Thought Leadership group, and consulted to Bell Atlantic, Nextel and Fannie Mae. Before that, he joined the startup WebThreads to lead the development of a CGI based application server with dynamic page generation, which preceded JSP, ASP, PHP and others. Earlier, he was a principal with AMS in the Finance Industry Group and an associate of the AMS Center for Advanced Technologies, where he formed and lead the Web Development Special Interest Group and co-authored the paper "AMS on the World Wide Web," the Second International WWW Conference '94. David received his bachelor's in computer science from Rochester Institute of Technology.

DAVID FOLEYBack to top
David Foley has worked in various positions for the Public Buildings Service (PBS) in Kansas City, Dallas, Atlanta and Washington, D.C. over the last seven years. PBS is one of the largest public real estate organizations in the world with over 344 million square feet of rentable space across 8,900 assets located in 50 states, six U.S. Territories and the District of Columbia. David currently heads a real property asset management group responsible for portfolio analysis, policy and strategic planning. He also is responsible for the development of performance measures for the President's Management Agenda, portfolio publications such as the annual State of the Portfolio Report and providing training and tools for 11 regional offices. He received his bachelor's in finance from Southwest Missouri State University.

ROBERT GAMBERBack to top
Rob Gamber is a product manager in the appliance controls business of the General Electric Company and is responsible for all commercial issues relating to the sale of electronic controls to the major appliance industry as well as new account development within the commercial refrigeration market. Rob's key accounts include the Maytag Corporation, GE Appliance, Electrolux and the Coca Cola Company. Before this position, Rob was a new product introduction development manager and led a team of engineers in the design of an AC Drive System for application in industrial lift truck market. Rob received his bachelor's in engineering from the United States Merchant Marine Academy in 1984 and his Professional Engineers license in 1996.

ADRIENNE HENDRICKSBack to top
Adrienne Hendricks has been a licensed financial specialist with Wachovia Bank for five years. She is responsible for personal banking needs to include loans and investments. For the past year, she has been focusing on small business clients, which include commercial loans. Before joining Wachovia, she was an internal wholesaler with Franklin Templeton, wholesaling domestic funds to financial advisors in the Southwestern U.S. for two years and then transferring to Florida where she wholesaled offshore funds for North America. She received her bachelor's in Chinese art history from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon.

GLENN M. JANSSENBack to top
Glenn Janssen is a program manager with Titan Systems Corporation out of San Diego, Calif. Titan is predominantly a security⁄IT solutions provider the U.S. Government, but started providing linguists to the U.S. military five years ago. Glenn joined Titan in 2002 as a site manager and was assigned to Afghanistan with five employees. He returned to Reston in 2004 and watched the linguist contract go from 100 employees and contractors to over 5,000 in 15 countries. Glenn currently operates 400 linguists in Iraq with an over $20 million dollar budget as part of Titan's $1.4 billion linguist contract, the second largest in Iraq. Glenn is also a Russian linguist, U.S. Army veteran and Military Intelligence member. He worked in over 20 countries as an internal auditor, translator, logistics specialist and as a diplomatic courier for various firms and government organizations. Glenn received his bachelor of arts from Louisiana State University.

Erik Littlejohn is a senior manager responsible for business operations at Perot Systems Corporation's Owens & Minor account. Perot Systems is a global provider of technology–based business solutions in selected industry sectors. Headquartered in Plano, Texas, the company has more than 16,000 associates throughout North America, Europe and Asia. Erik is responsible for contract management, business case development, and resource and asset management for the Owens & Minor account. After serving five years in the U.S. Army, Erik was hired into Perot Systems' Engineering Development Program. Previously, he held a variety of positions within Perot, including business analyst, programmer, project manager and department manager. Erik received his bachelor of science from the United States Military Academy.

JASON MCCOYBack to top
Jason McCoy is a U.S. Army officer in the process of transitioning to Global Energy Management. With more than eight years experience during military service and as a cadet at the U.S. Military Academy, Jason has served in numerous positions requiring strong leadership, supervisory and interpersonal skills. As an aviation officer, Jason is currently stationed at Fort Rucker, Ala., in charge of over 100 soldiers, and responsible for coordinating, budgeting and conducting military funerals in both Alabama and Florida. Starting in May 2005, Jason will begin his career as a general manager for Global Energy Management, a startup company in the energy sector with a focus on mining coal reserves in both North and South America. He received a bachelor's in economics from the United States Military Academy.

Brent Mickum is a partner at Keller and Heckman, where he is a member of the Litigation Division. He regularly represents corporations, trade associations and individuals before federal and state courts and regulatory agencies throughout the United States. Brent's practice focuses on advertising and trade–related issues, contract, trade secrets, employment law, sweepstakes and promotions law and alien tort claims matters. He supervises Keller and Heckman's criminal pro bono program and currently represents three prisoners at Guantanamo. Before joining Keller and Heckman, Brent worked at the Federal Trade Commission in Washington, D.C., where he conducted fraud litigation and enforcement and rulemaking proceedings for the Commission. During the same period, he conducted criminal prosecutions as a special assistant United States Attorney for the Department of Justice. He is the author of several chapters in the Joint Rule Enforcement Handbook, a cooperative effort between the FTC and the National Association of Attorneys General. He has made presentations to business groups, consumer groups, state attorneys general, local governments and at advertising law seminars around the country. He is a master in the Federal American Inn of Court and regularly teaches at Georgetown Law School as an instructor in the NITA Trial Advocacy and Deposition Training programs. Brent was senior investigative counsel on the U.S. Senate's Special Committee on Investigations.

Chae Min is a senior manager in financial planning and analysis group for Raytheon Systems Corporation. She is currently responsible for negotiating forward pricing rates with government, five year strategic planning, annual operating planning, monthly forecasting, and financial analysis and reporting for $2.2 billion dollar segment within Raytheon. Before this role, she was responsible for managing cash flow, working capital and return on invested capital for the segment. Before Raytheon, she worked at MCI and Perot Systems. Chae is a C.P.A., and she holds her bachelor's in accounting from Virginia Tech.

WILLIAM A. NJIEBack to top
William Njie is a budget and financial planning manager with ITT Industries, Advanced Engineering and Sciences. As a team lead for the Business Management Team, William and his team are tasked with providing all the required programmatic support but most important improving and/or re-engineering business processes, preparing cost analysis, formulating, executing and tracking up to $412 million dollar annual budgets for the Telecommunications Department of the Federal Aviation Administration. Before his employment with ITT Industries, William worked for the United States Congress as a budget analyst. He received his bachelor's in international business from Howard University.

REGULO PACHECOBack to top
Regulo Pacheco is the head grower for Blue Ridge Growers, one of the top 100 greenhouse operations in the United States. Regulo is responsible for 25 acres of state of the art greenhouses and 15 acres of open field. Regulo oversees the production, propagation, growing and plant health of more than 15 millions plants annually. Before joining Blue Ridge Growers, Regulo held various management positions for the Greenhouse and Nursery industry. He received his bachelor's in horticulture and his master's in plant biotechnology from Brigham Young University.

SATYAM PRIYADARSHY, Ph.D.Back to top
Dr. Priyadarshy is a technical manager with global network operations at America Online. He has over 15 years of programming and research experience. He has published more than 20 research papers in various scientific and technology journals. He has also written over 10 software reviews in magazines like Science. Satyam has presented talks in Australia, India and many U.S. universities and conferences. Satyam was inducted in 1996 to Phi Lambda Upsilon, an honorary society of chemist for his work on DNA electron transfer. He is also member of American Chemical Society and IEEE. Satyam obtained his Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, one of India's premier universities in 1990. Since then, he has worked in Australia and U.S. in various places. Satyam volunteers for various education related events such as high school science fairs, Time to Read, etc. He also serves on the boards of nonprofit organizations involved in expanding the understanding of the culture of India and its neighbors.

Angela Pryor is currently the CEO of Prysm Technology, Inc. a professional IT solutions and services company serving the U.S. Federal Government. Before Prysm Technology, Ms. Pryor served as Chief Systems Integrator for RazorX2, LLC and prior to RazorX2 was an Intel program manager for Infodata Systems, a content management solutions company. While at Infodata Systems her responsibilities included management of one of the companies largest contract vehicles, business development and recruitment. Angela has six years experience within the Intel community and a solid background in software development and life cycle management. Angela earned her bachelor's in Information Systems from Appalachian State University..

Susan Reardon is executive director of the American Foreign Service Association. The American Foreign Service Association is the professional association for U.S. career diplomats and employees of the Foreign Service. With over 13,000 members representing active and retired Foreign Service employees of the Department of State, Agency for International Development, the Foreign Agricultural Service the Commercial Service and the International Broadcasting Bureau. The association publishes the Foreign Service Journal, presents annual awards, provides legal services to members, carries out an active legislative agenda including an affiliated PAC, provides college scholarships and conducts a variety of programs to further the public's understanding of the role of the U.S. Foreign Service. Susan has served as director of finance and administration for the League of Women Voters of the United States and directed computer education programs at the USDA Graduate School and the University of Missouri, St. Louis. Susan has a bachelor of arts from the University of California–Santa Cruz.

Wesley Reid is currently Corporate Director of Engineering for TREX Company, Inc. Trex Company, Inc. is engaged in the manufacture and distribution of wood/plastic composite products for residential and commercial decking and railing. It manufactures Trex Wood-Polymer lumber by combining waste wood fibers and reclaimed polyethylene. At Trex, Wesley is responsible for the Corporate Engineering, Environmental and Safety initiatives at the corporations three manufacturing locations in Virginia, Mississippi and Nevada. Prior to joining TREX, Wesley was Operations Director of the Eastern Region Supply Chain for ECOLAB Inc., the leading global developer and marketer of premium cleaning, sanitizing and pest elimination products serving the hospitality, institutional and industrial markets. Wesley has a MBA from the Virginia Tech Pamplin School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from West Virginia University. He has various certifications including an Associates Degree in Organizational Development from the University of North Carolina.

SONIA SCHMITT Back to top
Dr. Sonia Schmitt has 17 years experience within the DoD, Civil, and International IT Services marketplace and recently joined Lockheed Martin's Washington Operations organization as Sr. Manager, DoD Information Technology. In this position, Dr. Schmitt supports Washington-based, IT-related defense program acquisition customers in identifying their priorities, increasing program visibility, taking new technology directions, and recommending possible solutions as their mission evolves. Her role requires her to coordinate between different LM business units including I&TS, IS&S, corporate business development and strategic planning, as well as collaborate with EIS, IT vendors, and trade associations to assist customers with gathering the information they need to create an IT value proposition and overcome any funding challenges. Prior to being promoted to this position in 2006, Dr. Schmitt worked as a senior BD staff member in Lockheed Martin IT Professional Services for 2 years where she was involved in strategic planning, competitor assessment, and process improvement for this $800M business unit. Dr. Schmitt led marketing activities, managed customer intimacy efforts, ran capture on Army ITES and DISA Encore ID/IQ task orders, and authored proposals for the Departments of State, Transportation, Labor, and Treasury. Dr. Schmitt has a record of accomplishment in the capture of ITES-2S, a 2005 $240M corporate priority program. She is also a member of the STARS team, which encourages students to pursue advanced degrees in IT and engineering. In her 3 years at SAIC, Dr. Schmitt's role was as Business Development Manager and Chief Engineer for Army and DoD programs. She worked closely with senior management to define IT service descriptions, create an opportunity pipeline, write white papers, and call customers-- resulting in $50M of new business and saving a $30M WRAMC contract that had been given a show-cause notice. At Cable & Wireless, Dr. Schmitt worked as a Solutions Architect on WAN design, VoIP migration strategies, and IT asset consolidation for commercial customers including DuPont and AstraZeneca, which contributed $120M to C&W's bottom line. Before coming to Lockheed Martin, Dr. Schmitt spent 5 years at The World Bank as an Information Officer and was responsible for defining functional and technical requirements for the Web Sphere rollout, as well as program management and technical oversight of a complex, custom-built event planning and logistics system, which was developed offshore for $10M. Part of her duties were to prepare business case documents, write RFPs, evaluate proposals, manage contractors, and support missions to China, Ukraine, Bosnia, Ethiopia, and India. She received three spot awards for exceptional employee performance. Sonia holds a Doctorate in Marketing of Technology, MS in Systems Engineering, BS in Mathematics, and TCP/IP and Network+certifications. During the past year, she participated on the Government Electronics and Information Technology Association (GEIA) IT and Net-Centric committees, and completed her executive MBA from Virginia Tech. In her free time, she is an adjunct faculty member at George Mason University, an avid skier, scuba diver, certified lifeguard, and has visited over 35 countries.

Sharada Sundar, a pension administration officer with The World Bank Group in Washington, D.C., administers the United States' $10.3 billion pension plan, which is a global plan with more than 11,000 plan participants and 6,500 retirees and beneficiaries spread across the world. She graduated with a master's in statistics from the University of Mumbai, India. She is a member of the U.S. Society of Actuaries.

John Thurman is a senior consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton at Crystal City. John works in the Worldwide Technology Business sector of Booz Allen. He works with Government Agencies focusing on financial management and programmatic support. Before this, he was a senior consultant with BearingPoint, another Department of Defense Contractor, supporting the Navy and the Military Sealift Command. He is also currently serving in the Army National Guard. John received his bachelor's in finance and marketing from Radford University.

Josh Trefethen is a senior manager with Lockheed Martin, the largest provider of IT services, systems integration, and training to the U.S. Government. Josh serves as the chief software architect and development manager for the eRulemaking project, one of the President's eGov initiatives. Over the past 10 years, Josh has served as an instrumental leader and technical expert for various companies and gained valuable experience designing, planning, developing and implementing state–of–the–art information technology systems. Josh holds a bachelor's in management information systems from the Marriott School at Brigham Young University.

Before Dedicated Micros, Jennifer held various accounting roles in both the public and private sectors. Jennifer earned a bachelor's in accounting from St. Francis College in Loretta, Pa.
